Keira lost her first tooth. We heard that if you write a note to the tooth fairy, she will let you keep your tooth. At this point, Keira had 3 more loose teeth. Just keeping the tooth fairy employed!
Keira also had her first round of strep throat. We were planning on leaving town to go camping in Yuba (Rick had an olympic triathlon that we went down for) and just a couple hours before we were jumping in the car, Keira suddenly broke down in tears, fever, and pain. I had never seen her like that. My kids are generally healthy so I knew that something major was up. Rick and I talked and thought maybe some fresh air and fun might be good for her...and some over the counter meds. Ummmm...think again. She was miserable all night and all the next day. When Rick finished his race, we jetted out of there, dropped him at work, and I went straight to the doctor's office. Keira was so out of it. She slept every chance she got while she was in the car since she couldn't help being completely lethargic. It was a quick visit since the results for strep came back positive. I then drove straight to the pharmacy, barely making it before they closed for lunch and popped my baby full of antibiotics. Within the next hour, she was already feeling heaps better. Hallelujah. All of this with our camping gear still packed in our car. It was definitely a campout to remember...but one I'd like to forget.
So...moving on.
Lexi was being silly one morning when I had her to myself.
Cooper had his first dose of the movie "Cars". He was glued to the T.V. for a half hour straight. This is the only movie he has had any interest in.
Many of our carpool mom's/grandma's have helped me out with numerous things so we decided to bring all of our carpool kids home with us and have a massive play date, hoping the adults could have a little time to themselves.
I was able to snag some conference tickets for the General Relief Society meeting and brought this lovely lady with me - my mom. We started with dinner and walked to the conference center right by temple square. It was such a beautiful day and a beautiful view.
My newest nephew was born. We went to the hospital to visit and welcome baby Memphis Jeffrey Horner. What a sweet boy. Congrats to Terri and Ben!
That's about all I could get for September except...Disneyland! Coming up next!
