Surfin' USA

I just got an email with new pictures from Judy-mom which was from Monique Robbins (married to Steve) so I had to brag about the cool new tricks Rick learned from Steve. They invited us on their boat a few weeks back and Steve taught Rick how to surf behind the boat! I had never heard of that, but Rick really enjoyed learning a new outdoor skill. He can't get enough of those outdoors! This was also on Utah Lake. It was my first experience on it and it's definitely how everyone describes it.

Ghostbusters Wanna-be

Ok. So maybe I don't quite look like the ghostbusters. We worked on the garage this week. It had only been sheetrocked when we moved in so we primed and painted it for a more complete look. I can't use "We" too loosely because actually Rick did most of the work. I was trying to avoid too much inhalation of the paint fumes with baby on the way and all. The Wagner we own (shown in picture) is less than a good choice for such a big project. Fortunately, Rick's uncle is in the construction business. He allowed us to borrow his paint sprayer that took less than half of the time that our little Wagner would have done. Thank goodness for family!

This is our new house in Lehi, Utah. We moved in at the beginning of September and the projects never end! We love it!

These two were the first additions to the Bassett family. Lucky and Lucy are now 6 months old so this is not an up-to-date picture. But I think it's my favorite picture of them. Soooooo cute!
