Just a few things we've been up to...

A Very Last Minute Trip to Cali!

My step-brother Cade called Rick Friday morning and asked him if he wanted to go hunting in Colorado...the next day! So instead of being bored for 4 days without Rick's company I decided to visit some family members in California. Talk about last minute! I booked my flight Friday afternoon and was off Saturday morning. It was so fun. We saw the Petersens (my oldest sister's family) and their 4 crazy boys, Aunt Elise (Rick's sister) and Aunt Coley (my younger sister), and the Middleton clan (my brother's family) including their wild 5. We also ate at In N Out Burger 2x, ate at BJ's 2x, and shopped at the Folsom Outlets. But mostly we just played with cousins. Thanks for such a great weekend guys!

Da Boyz and Keira - think she could be their sister?

My oldest niece, Adia, and her youngest brother, Kaden (I'm getting worse at remembering to take pictures! This is only 2 of the 5 wild Middleton kids)

Halloween fun

Here's my cute pumpkin holding her pumpkin!

Hmmm...what to carve...a jack-o-lantern perhaps?

Peek-a-boo!

I know leopards don't wear bows, but my sister Terri taught me how to make bows and I REALLY wanted Keira to wear one. (Thanks T for teaching me and thanks Jill for teaching T!)

Pumpkins

We found a pumpkin patch not too far from home and hunted for the perfect pumpkins to carve. Of course, it looks more like a photo shoot, but we can't help it! Daddy was a good sport and carved our pumpkins for us while we watched. (Unfortunately, the snow got to them before I could get a picture.)

Can you see the mountains in the background? Utah is so pretty!

Mmmm...cereal

We started solids a few weeks ago and it only took a couple of days for the little one to figure it out. She knows when food is coming and she is ready for the airplane..."Don't eat me, Don't eat me..." (inside joke for sisters Gina and Coley). Too funny!
