Traverse Mountain birthday party - our "mountain" had a celebration where all the wards in the stake had a booth, all which were gospel related. Super cute. Our ward did a rendition of musical chairs. Keira or Lexi won every time we played and got a cupcake each time. I think 3 times was enough. Keira certainly loved them :)

Some fun things...
...we've been up to.

The girls also made yarn dolls. Super cute. They love this very simple toy so much that we take it to church each week.
We had a short visit with Aunt Linda - a picnic at the park. Always a favorite. It was so nice to catch up with her. Thanks Becca and Vanessa for having babies so she'd come :)
Raspberry picking in Payson - I used to go olallieberry picking when I was a kid with my family so I decided to carry on such a fun tradition.
Another picnic at the park with some dancing for dessert
Easiest pie ever! And delicious as can be!
Once again, a picnic. I told you we liked them :) This time was with Gramma Judy on her lunch break. Gramma had the best idea to meet and eat on the temple grounds. Perfect! I love that the girls enjoy the temple so much. We saw "princesses" that got married there. The girls were quite fascinated with their fancy wedding dresses.
The nice weather is still holding out with the afternoons staying warm, but the chill is creeping in. I'm SO not ready for Fall, but I guess it's time to decorate the house because it is coming someday. Farewell Summer. You will be sorely missed.

Aaaargh!
We were stopped at a stoplight when Lexi looked out her window and said, "Mommy! Pirate!" I thought she said pilot and couldn't see where she was looking. "Mommy! Pirate!", she said again and then I saw. A woman sitting on a bench, waiting for the bus, with a patch over one eye. Oh, and that's not all! Lexi's window was down! Oh I hope that lady didn't hear her! I'd feel so bad!

Labor Day
Our Labor Day holiday turned out super fun considering it was all last minute decisions. We hadn't planned ahead for a camping trip, but luckily it occurred to us (at 7:30 pm) we can camp in our own backyard! Duh! The girls absolutely LOVED it (which is still a major understatement). They did awesome, too. They slept great and didn't get scared at all - something I half expected so I was pleasantly surprised. It was a great test for any future camping we do. They won't stop asking so we are definitely keeping that at the top of our list of favorite things to do!
Breakfast in bed
We had plans to go swimming, but the weather turned to muck so instead, we took advantage of discounted tickets to Lagoon! I have never been so it was fun to at least go once :) It may be the only time I ride the rides there. I'm getting too old for roller-coasters. We were able to leave the kids with Gramma Judy and Grampa Steve so Rick and I could experience the "demands" of Lagoon together. Of course, the kids LOVE Gramma's house so there was no argument from them.
