Who is who?

I have had a lot of people tell me how much Keira and Lexi look alike. Do you know who is who?

These were taken in the 1st month of life.

Now do you think they look alike? This is about 6 months of age for them both.

Sadly, I noticed that Keira didn't smile as much as Lexi does at this age. But, Keira certainly makes up for it now. I wonder what Lexi will be like a year from now...one day at a time...

(If you haven't guessed or looked ahead to cheat, both sets of pictures start with Keira then Lexi - I just kept them in order of age.)

Valentines weekend

I wanted to make cookies with Keira for Valentines Day so we decided to throw a party and decorate them with friends! Although, the decorating didn't last long before the girls were eating up the cookies. It was still super fun. We hope to make it a tradition every year!

Cousin Olivia - she preferred the frosting
Keira's friend, Elle, from church
Thanks Martha Stewart for some fun homemade decorating ideas!
And, of course, we had a fun visit with my brother Ty and girlfriend Christy. We were so excited to meet her. What a cutie!
Keira and Olivia entertained us during our visit. Funny girls!
Rick and I enjoyed our official evening out the day after Valentines Day. Thanks to my sister for the suggestion it was a delicious choice. We didn't bring the camera...in fact, I didn't even think about it. Instead, I enjoyed a wonderful night with my hubby and with no concerns. I love him so much!

Keira's First Haircut

We took Keira in for a much-needed haircut. This place is so cute. They have cars to sit in while getting a haircut and movies to watch. Keira did so well. I don't even think she realized what was going on. It may not look much different in the pictures but it is a major improvement.

Before

After
And, of course, bangs!

Bahama Mama and Papa

We didn't have much time to settle in before we were off again. We took advantage of a cruise to the Bahamas through Apx. It was such a blast. The ports of call included Nassau, Cococay, and Key West. Our favorites were the waterslides at the Atlantis Resort on Nassau and scuba diving in Cococay. Of course, we loved playing volleyball on the beach and dodge ball tournaments on the ship.

Here is how we got to the waterslides. It was through an actual tunnel under water. It was cool to see the different sea life.
The girls
The boys...I'm thinking this could be a new ad for summer sales.
Before the dive on Cococay - we saw a few manta ray (probably about 6 foot wing span), turtle, and a lion fish. Plus, a lot more colorful fish that were beautiful. I love to scuba dive!
Key West - a stop for ice cream after a couple of hours at the beach.

5 whole years

Yes. It has been 5 years of marriage for Rick and I. Amazing how time flies! We enjoyed a trip to Vegas with just the two of us and did we live it up! We had sushi, frozen yogurt and went to a Cirque Du Soleil show, saw Avatar in IMAX 3D, and rung in the new year with John Mayer Trio. All in about 2 1/2 days! 2010 has started off to be a great year already!

This frozen yogurt place had a bunch of soft-serve like machines that you could pick any flavor of frozen yogurt, put all kinds of toppings on it, and you pay based on the weight. What a treat!

We love the Cirque Du Soleil shows!
We bowled one game while waiting for the movie Avatar to start. Guess who one? ME!!
Bob Sagot opened for John Mayer. Weird, right?
John Mayer Trio rocks!
After a quick trip to Vegas, we stayed with Gramma Judy and Grampa Steve an extra day to play in the snow. Keira couldn't stop eating it!

Mmmm...

I know it's been awhile since I have blogged and there are so many more important things to blog before this, but this was too funny that I had to share.

Rick was gone all day working and this is what he wanted for dinner. Grapefruit, cheese, and a snack pack. The sad thing is he went to Costco YESTERDAY to stock up. What a silly boy.
