June wrap-up

We stayed pretty darn busy this month so I thought it would be easier just to consolidate just a few highlights...especially since it's basically the middle of July!!

Cowabunga Bay waterpark...our favorite!  Keira can go down all the slides by herself and she didn't hesitate!  Lexi wanted to, also, but she needs to grow a few more inches to be tall enough.

He's got a need for speed!

FHE at Thanksgiving Point and Thanksgiving Point Gardens - Bug Hunts and Pirate Cove

Aarrrrrrrrrrrrrrrgh matey!

Our own personal Zoo - Rick took on this project when we had to move all of the stuffed animals out of the baby boy's room and into the girl's room.  He did awesome!  We discovered a couple extra creatures in the mix...

Boy-EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!

No mistake about it!!

We are so excited to add this little guy to our family!!  I was measuring a week early by ultrasound, but possibly because of a big growth spurt beforehand.  At my 24 week appointment, he seems to be growing right on track so our due date is October 23rd.  We've got ourselves a spooky surprise!!

Father's Day

We started our Father's Day celebration early with an overnight campout to American Fork canyon.  We've been to the base of the canyon for just dinner outings, but this time we went WAY up to find all kinds of campsites and a lake.  Not every campsite being a designated one (requiring a fee) we found a great fee-free site right by a river!  It amazes me how much these girls love camping already.  So we set up, had dinner, threw rocks in the river, danced to our own beats, and made yummy s'mores - away from it all.  I loved every minute of it.

Father's Day arrived a week later and we adopted my sister's tradition of wearing Daddy's ties to church.  They looked adorable!  I didn't realize until later how bad my photography skills were because you can't see EXACTLY what they are wearing...I think I was more worried about the mess on the floor and getting to church on time.  You get the gist, right?
I love celebrating this man in our lives because he completes us.  Love you Daddy boy!
