Too much fun + Very little sleep = a tired, sick momma. That would be me. We've enjoyed a lot of company so I have a lot of catching up to do. And after 2 days of laying on the couch, I can finally do just that!
Gramma Jenny & Grampa Paul came to visit! Keira doesn't give them 2 seconds to arrive but to ask if they want to play games. This is DEFINITELY her new favorite thing. She asks to play games ALL the time. It was probably my fault since it was my idea to get so many of them for her for Christmas. I can't believe she's old enough to play board games! Lucky for us, Gpa & Gma arrived on the day of our anniversary so they were nice enough to "babysit" (more like play!) for us. We caught an early showing of Sherlock Holmes: A Game of Shadows then to a delicious seafood dinner at the Market Street Grill.

The best 7 years of my life...and counting.

The next day we went to the dino museum. This was the first time the girls stopped to observe all the facts and little activities to do.

Of course, Daddy has to satisfy Lexi's desire to touch the shark. What a nice Daddy :)
Big Foot & Little Foot

This is one of my favorite parts. The kids get to dig & brush in the sand to find dinosaur bones. It's a hit with little kids AND big kids :)

Dinner that night was sushi and boy, do we love sushi! Keira always asks us if she can have some and since she's too young to truly enjoy sushi, we usually just give her a bite or two. But Tsunami has a california roll on the kid's menu! How sweet is that! She scarfed it down (with a little help from Lexi).

The fun continued at Jungle Jim's Playland the next day. This may be our new favorite place. It's an indoor amusement park for kids including games and prizes. The girls absolutely had a ball! I think we stayed for like 2 hours only to be stopped by our growling bellies.
More to come...New Year's!

FUN! Not very many of my pics from Jungle Jim's turned out - mostly lighting issues...gotta study up on that. Keira is a big gamer, but it was tons of fun playing with her. Lexi is catching on pretty quickly, too. Pretty soon you will be the referee between them while they play each other. :)
I would love to take my kids to that Dino museum! It looks so cool. Glad you guys had fun with mom and dad.
(My kids love CA rolls too. Got to train 'em young!)
I'm confused, which ones were the dinosaurs. We had a wonderful time.
